The next edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion will mark a significant moment for the Catalan fashion platform. From April 14 to 17, 2026, the event will return for its 37th edition, but this time in a new setting: Port Vell and Marina Vela, placing the runway directly on Barcelona’s waterfront.

After several seasons at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, the move signals a shift in how the event positions itself within the city. The change of venue is not only logistical, it reflects a broader intention to connect the fashion week more directly with Barcelona’s urban landscape and its international cultural identity.
For a platform that has long championed experimentation and emerging talent, the relocation suggests that 080 Barcelona Fashion is entering a new phase of its evolution.
A change of scenery for Barcelona fashion
Since its creation, 080 Barcelona Fashion has functioned as a space where independent designers, emerging labels, and established brands can present their work outside the traditional structures of the global fashion calendar.
The new location at Port Vell and Marina Vela introduces a different atmosphere compared with the historic architecture of Sant Pau. The setting reflects Barcelona’s relationship with design, culture, and openness, elements that have shaped the city’s creative identity for decades.
By situating the runway in one of the most visible areas of the city’s waterfront, the organization reinforces the idea of 080 as a platform that operates not only within the fashion industry, but also within the broader cultural narrative of Barcelona.

Designers shaping the 37th edition
The upcoming edition will feature 26 designers and brands, continuing the event’s tradition of combining established names with emerging voices in contemporary fashion.
Among the returning designers are Custo Barcelona, known for its graphic and color-driven aesthetic, as well as Dominnico and Txell Miras, two designers who have consistently pushed the creative boundaries of the Barcelona runway.
The program will also include the debut of Adolfo Domínguez, one of Spain’s most internationally recognized fashion houses, bringing its signature approach to minimalism and contemporary tailoring to the platform.
International presence will be represented by labels such as LUAR, the New York–based brand founded by Raúl López, whose work has gained global attention for its cultural references and strong visual identity.
Together, these designers illustrate the diverse character of 080 Barcelona Fashion, a runway where different generations, aesthetics, and creative approaches intersect.
The full schedule and participating designers are detailed in the official program on the 080 Barcelona Fashion website.
Beyond the runway
While the fashion shows remain the central focus, 080 Barcelona Fashion also plays a strategic role within the regional fashion ecosystem.
Organized by the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya, the event aims to strengthen the industry through international visibility, support for independent designers, and dialogue between creativity and business.
Over the years, the platform has developed into more than a fashion week. It has become a meeting point for designers, press, buyers, and cultural institutions interested in the evolving landscape of contemporary fashion.

A new chapter for 080
Every fashion platform eventually reaches a moment when its identity begins to shift. For 080 Barcelona Fashion, the 37th edition may represent one of those moments.
Leaving behind the historic setting of Sant Pau closes a chapter that defined the visual identity of the event for several seasons. Moving to the waterfront, meanwhile, opens a different stage, one that reflects Barcelona’s ongoing transformation as a creative capital.
Whether this transition will redefine the future of the platform remains to be seen.
But one thing is clear:
the story of 080 Barcelona Fashion is far from finished.
